Facebook travel groups, polished fanpages, and paid FB/Instagram ads cloning real operators sell Ha Giang loops, Ba Na Hills combos, private transfers, and 5-star rooms at 300,000–500,000 VND teaser prices, then ask for a 30–50% deposit by personal bank transfer or MoMo. Then they stall, ghost, or delete the page — and you learn at the cable-car station or hotel desk that no booking exists. Because ad pages pay Meta, they outrank real operators in your feed, so a good clone is unspottable. The deposit channel is the tell.
