Vietnam's sleeper buses put a flat bunk under you for 400,000–550,000 VND (~$15–21) on overnight long-haul routes. Buy that same ticket from a street seller and you pay 20–40% over the operator's price — sometimes with an invented baggage fee stacked on top at boarding.
